Shopmobility was launched in Fakenham on 4th May 2006 at First Focus Community Information Centre, 18, Cattle Market Street. Electric Scooters/ Wheelchairs can be hired on a Thursday between 10A.M. AND 3.P.M and also on Tuesday mornings from September. There is an Annual Shopmobility membership fee of £10 plus £1.50 hiring fee on the day of use. The Scooters can be ‘Booked in advance by phoning:- 01553 770310, West Norfolk Community Transport, who also offer a Dial-A-BUS on Thursdays from Bale, Briston, Melton Constable. There is a second bus running from Litcham, Mileham, Stanfield, Whissonsett, Colkirk, Hempton to Fakenham, to link in with Shopmobility. |
